Description
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is a foundational certification designed for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, firefighters, and other healthcare professionals who provide direct patient care in emergency situations.
This American Heart Association–authorized course teaches the critical skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. Participants learn how to perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, properly use an AED, and manage choking or airway obstruction.
This course is appropriate for both first-time certification and renewal and is commonly required by EMS agencies, fire departments, hospitals, and public safety organizations. Flexible scheduling options are available, including in-person training and blended learning through HeartCode® BLS.
